Wow, lots of backlinks for AntonellaBarbaPix.com

I was reviewing the traffic stats for my blog and noticed that lots of people were coming to my blog post about Antonella Barba Galleries. I got curious, and looked up some statistics on the Antonella Barba scandal. Here is what I found:

First of all, Google search traffic for the phrase "American Idol" is VERY seasonal. People start searching in the late spring, and curiousity peaks right around the time of year when a winner is crowned. Here is the source and chart:

I then tried to look into the Antonella Barba story specifically.

The website AntonellaBarbaPix.com seemed like the best bell weather for the stroy, so I plugged in that URL to a pagerank prediction tool. Wow, lots of backlinks in a very short period of time. iWebTool is predicting that the site will have a pagerank of 5 by the next Google flip. Here is the source and chart:

Then of course there is the question about the authenticity of the pictures. Is that really Antonella Barba? Weird News reports that David Shutters of the L.A. Police Department's Crime Lab says that the photos are fakes; "Yes, they are not really her. We've studied the evidence thoroughly and determined that Antonella is not the girl in the pictures." But then again, lots of bloggers seem convinced that Antonella is a naughty New Jersey girl...

Sean Connery spoofs on SNL

I used to love the SNL skits, poking fun at Sean Connery. I just found this one on YouTube...

Listen, Connery is still the best James Bond ever, don't get me wrong. But SNL is pretty darn funny...

Maria Ozawa Miyabi

Maria Ozawa is becoming more and more popular, with videos like this one on YouTube. Fan sites are popping up all over the net, both in the US and in Japan.

Ozawa is half-Japanese and half-French-Canadian. She started modeling for the site shirouto-teien.com, which resulted in several sets of photographs and videos. She was then signed by the S1 AV company. She is featured in S1's entry in the 2006 AV Open, a competition between Japanese pornographic studios whose aim is to see which studio can produce the highest selling video. The S1 video featuring Maria Ozawa won first place.

She has done several photo shoots and glamour videos that feature her in the nude, but not performing sexual acts.

According to Google Trends, searches for her name have increased dramatically in the last few months. Check out the graph here:

Her current popularity seems to peak in Indonesia and the Philippines.

Look out for more about Maria as her popularity increases.

Simon Cowell has no sympathy for Britney Spears

"This whole thing is a total indulgence, Britney and Robbie need to get a grip. We've allowed these people to feel sorry for themselves. I don't know what's going on in Britney's head but my attitude is I couldn't care less. She should go back and live with her mum for six months."

One Night in Paris

A source at a post-Oscars party claims to have heard Paris Hilton talking with Rick Salomon about their $1 million profit from the official release of 'One Night in Paris', according to the New York Post.

That simple home video was worth a lot more than $1 million to Paris Hilton - the video skyrocketed her into an instant A-list celebrity. She become one of the most searched for names on the Internet, landed reality TV gigs, and is now the hottest invite to every major Fashion Show and celeb party.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs vs. Richard 'Diddy' Dearlove

Looks like the Diddy is under dispute.

Last September Sean "P Diddy" Combs settled out of court with UK musician Richard 'Diddy' Dearlove over using the "Diddy" nickname. The Combs Diddy paid up almost $20,000 and agreed to market himself as 'P Diddy' in the UK. I guess the Dearlove Diddy has been marketing himself as a Diddy since 1992.

Now P Diddy is scheduled to perform in the UK with Snoop Dogg, but the UK courts are telling him that he can't perform certain lyrics (he talks about himself in the third person, if you haven't noticed!)

My take: Diddy Dearlove just wants more Diddy handouts

Who has the best collection of photos of American Idol starlette Antonella Barba?

Here are a few of my current favorites:

Heather Mills McCartney Dancing with the Stars

"Hopefully my leg will stay on ... it's very unlikely [it will come off] though it'd be funny to knock one of the judges out!"
-- Heather Mills, about dancing with an artificial leg on Dancing with the Stars

Now that'd be a show worth watching!

Mills is also in a legal dispute with her estranged husband and former Beatles star Paul McCartney. They're in divorce courts in London.
